Why companies are dropping the classic corporate photo shoot

Questions about replacing a headshot photographer
Do the headshots look fake or "plastic"?
The headshots are generated from each team member's selfie: they keep their features and expression. AI changes the lighting, the outfit and the background for a studio look, and the skin looks more polished than on a phone photo. If none of the headshots looks like them, they get a new set for free.
What if a team member doesn't like their headshot?
Each person gets 5 headshots from their selfie. If none of them works, they get a new set of 5 headshots, for free.
Are my team members' photos used to train AI models?
Never. Photos are never published, sold, or used to train an AI model. Every team member gives their own consent before taking a selfie. The selfie is deleted 7 days after the headshots are delivered, and the headshots 90 days after.
